How this read is built

Bitcoin

GT Core sets the posture, read daily from its published data. Defection reads risk-off and a mixed regime reads mixed. Cooperation reads risk-on once the model takes a position or the Cooperation Persistence Score clears 0.57. Below that line it reads fragile.

Alts

The posture is the share of the screener’s alts above their weekly 9/21 EMA cross at the last weekly close. Above 60% reads trending and under 40% reads weak. BBWP shows whether those names are coiled or already running hot.

Trenches

The Grift Index compares pump.fun bonding-curve volume and launchpad fees on Solana, Robinhood Chain, BNB and Base with their own last year. A reading of +1 is about one standard deviation above normal.

The moving field

The current behind the headline follows the read. It runs calm when Bitcoin’s regime is durable and choppy when it is fragile, drifts up on risk-on and down on risk-off, moves faster when the trenches are hot and fills in as more alts trend.
